This week MCR teamed up with Tom Walmsley of The Environmental Education Project to trial a live Skype lesson with years 5 and 6 at Clifton High School, Bristol. The children have previously used scientific data collected by the Song of the Whale team in their learning and had prepared a series of questions for Dr Oliver Boisseau who also led the students on a video tour of the research vessel during the lesson. It is hoped that these live classroom sessions will become a regular feature of the work of Song of the Whale during field projects. See the school blog and more pictures here.
