Song of the Whale sets sail for Ireland, Iceland and Greenland

Song of the Whale has set sail  from the UK for a busy summer of marine mammal research in Ireland, Iceland and Greenland.

The first project sees SOTW return to the offshore waters of Ireland, where Song of the Whale will work with the Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology, Irish Whale and Dolphin Group and Sea Mammal Research Unit  on the ObSERVE Acoustic project surveying for deep divers (sperm and beaked whales), in the shelf waters off SW Ireland.
